As a former real estate broker, Niko G. Established in 2010, NGM Law, which has grown to a team of four attorneys and three paralegals, handles all aspects of real estate law. Graduating law school in 2006 having already worked as a law clerk for a real estate law firm as well as the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Marneris earned his broker license in 2007 but ultimately transitioned back into law full time three years later. “I have always had a deep fascination with real estate,” says Marneris. “It occurred to me early on that there was so much happening on so many levels, from constantly changing neighborhood landscapes to the accumulation of wealth and power to the social aspect of how many different and interesting people intersect in this business. I could never get bored being around all that.”

Marneris is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association. A self-described “big fan” of riding his bike, travelling and exploring Chicago, Marneris also loves spending time with his large Greek family.
